Although New York museums were due to be permitted to reopen today as part of Phase 4 of the state’s reopening plan, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Friday that they would have to wait just a bit longer. Indoor cultural attractions, malls, and indoor dining have all been excluded from Phase 4 as the government looks to limit the potential for a second wave of the virus. Zoos and botanical gardens will be allowed to reopen at 33 percent capacity.
